Pico Verde Holidays Ltd is a small independent British company operating along the northern coast of Spain. It was set up by two walking enthusiasts who have lived and worked in this part of Spain for many years. So taken were they with the area that they decided to stay and work towards sharing their knowledge and experience with others.

Barry Daniel and Kate Threadgold are the founders of Pico Verde

		Barry has worked as a sailor, carpenter and an English teacher before starting up Pico Verde. He's a qualified mountain leader and flora and fauna enthusiast. He loves being in the great outdoors and with people and sees his job as the perfect combination.

Kate Threadgold, a geographer by training and a teacher by trade, is also a qualified mountain leader. During her time living in Spain she has walked extensively throughout the area and has invested much of her free time in finding out about its history and traditions.
